Tour To Lviv And Suburbs: Charming Lviv Anf Zhovkva - The City Of Kings


During this two-days travel You'll find out a lot about the history of two medieval cities: Lviv and Zhovkva, see the most interesting places of architecture in these two cities and visit the famous Krehiv Monastery.

Progran of two-days tour to Lviv and Zhovkva:

Day 1

Arrival to Lviv. Transfer from the railway station to the city centre.

Beginning of the walking tour "The Austrian Part Of Lviv" during which You'll visit the best architectural monumants of Austrian times in Lviv. This part of the city was built in XIX-XX centuries. You'll see The Opera House, Noble Casino, Potocky Palace, Lviv National Univercity Of Ivan Franko and St. Geogre Cathedral.

Lunch break.

After the lunch You'll continue the acquaintance with the city on the walking tour "The Streets Of Medieval Lviv".During this tour You'll see: The Market Place - the central square of Lviv, the national quarters of Ukrainians, Armenians and Jews. You'll visit the famous Lviv cathedrals and coffee places, see the most beautiful buildings of the city.

Day 2

Breakfast. Going out of the city for the tour "Zhovkva - The City Of Kings And Krehiv Monastery"

Zhovkva is the second city in the area for the number of architectural monuments after Lviv. It was founded in 1594 by Stanislav Zholkievskiy and then it used to belong to the King Of Poland - Jan Sobieskiy. In that times it was considered to be the second capital of Poland.

After the tour around Zhovkva You're going to travel to Krehiv. One of the biggest Greek-Catholic Monasteriesof Western Ukraine is situated there. 

Coming back to Lviv.
